KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is facing felony charges following a road-rage incident Thursday night in Lee's Summit that left another man injured.

On Friday, Jackson County prosecutors charged Joseph W. Terry, 54, with two counts of armed criminal action, felony assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

A probable cause statement says Terry was inside his white Camaro when he shot at the victim’s maroon Kia.

A witness said Terry and the victim were heading eastbound on N.W. US 50 Highway.

Terry was driving in front of the victim when he slammed on his brakes, causing the victim to rear-end Terry's car.

Terry then pulled up next to the victim’s car and fired off several round of gun shots.

One bullet grazed the victim.

A warrant was issued Friday for Terry’s Camaro where officers found shell casings from a gun.

Prosecutors have requested a $100,000 bond.
