Independence police say three people are in custody following a police pursuit that involved a stolen vehicle.
The pursuit began "in earnest" around the Blue Ridge Cutoff area on Interstate 70 and Highway 40, police say.
It ended without incident in Kansas City, Mo.
No crash or injuries were reported.
