Tires slashed, mirrors broken on 30 cars in Liberty overnight

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Approximately 30 cars had their tires slashed or outside mirrors broken off in Liberty's Claywoods neighborhood Monday.

According to a statement from the city, officials believe two suspects in a red hatchback, possibly a Ford Focus, vandalized cars parked on the street between 2 and 3 a.m. Monday. 

Police are advising residents to park their cars in garages when possible or driveways with the home's porch lights on.
