Two teenagers are facing charges in a double shooting on Dec. 8 in Kansas City.
Tyren Lamar, 17, faces two counts of first degree murder, one count of first-degree robbery and three counts of armed criminal action. Seth S. Reed faces two counts of second degree murder, one count of first-degree robbery and three counts of armed criminal action.
A release from the Jackson County Prosecutor's office says Lamar and Reed are accused of fatally shooting Jonathan Echols and Freddie Jones. Echols and Jones were both shot in a home on Chesnut. Witnesses claim Lamar and Reed went there to rob the victims.
Prosecutors requested bonds of $300,000 for Reed and $500,000 for Lamar.
