KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two men were shot while driving on Interstate 35 west of downtown Friday night in Kansas City, Missouri.
Police shut down three lanes of southbound I-35 to search for shell casings and other evidence after the two shooting victims showed up at the QuikTrip near West 31st Street and Southwest Boulevard.
One victim was transported to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries. The second man also was transported to the hospital, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
