Warrensburg man faces 20 counts of child pornography

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Warrensburg man has been charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography in Johnson County, Missouri, court.

Michael Jason Keller, 45, faces the charges after the Western Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force was informed that he had been “downloading and exchanging child porn through Instagram,” according to a probable cause statement.

Keller previously pleaded guilty to felony possession of child pornography in 2017 in Clay County.

His bond is set at $50,000, cash only and he is not allowed to have contact with anyone under the age of 17 “by any means,” according to the probable cause statement. Keller also is restricted from accessing the internet and using social media accounts.

He will not be released on bond until he is fitted with a GPS device.
