INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Officers are investigating after a woman was found shot to death in a home Tuesday afternoon.
At 1:21 p.m., Independence police officers were called to a home in the 10500 block of E. 10th Street on suspicious activity. When officers arrived, they found a woman dead in the home.
The victim was identified as Angela Green, 38. Police said she died as a result of a shooting.
Detectives are investigating the case as a homicide.
