A woman reported she was raped by two men early Saturday morning in a vehicle on Colorado Avenue.
Police were called to the 1400 block of Colorado Avenue around 7:30 a.m.
A woman told officers she left her friend, a woman in her 30's, sleep in her vehicle while it was running.
A short time later she checked on her friend, and the vehicle was gone. The woman went around the block, and discovered two men reportedly raping her friend.
The woman tried to intervene, and called police, when the suspects fired shots at her, officers said.
Both women were able to escape without other injuries.
The woman in the car was transported to an area hospital to get checked out.
No other details on the suspects has been released by law enforcement.
An investigation is underway.
