KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman is in critical condition after being shot while walking her dog near a Kansas City, Missouri, hospital.
Officers found the victim near the helipad at Research Medical Center, 2316 E. Meyer Blvd.
Police got a description of the suspect and found him a short time later at East 68th Street and Olive Avenue.
The dog was with the suspect.
