A gas line has been broken in a traffic crash in Parkville at Main and 1st Street. Platte County authorities urge motorists to avoid the area until the gas line can be repaired.
A witness at the scene said a stolen car from Kansas rammed a car, sending it into the gas line.
Several businesses in downtown Parkville are being evacuated as a precaution.
