KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As demand continues to soar for hand sanitizers, Kansas City’s distillery community continues to step up.
Weston, Missouri-based Holladay Distillery is making hand sanitizer.
As part of the effort, the company donated hand sanitizer to the Lenexa Police Department.
Wow! A big thanks to @Holladay1856 Distillery for donating lots of their Helping Hands sanitizer for our officers! It’s great to see such innovation during these difficult times! pic.twitter.com/HaP9r67WXt— Lenexa Police (@LenexaPolice) April 2, 2020
Last month, The Rieger Distillery switched some of its capacity to making hand sanitizer.
We've created a Facebook group, We're Open Kansas City, where members of the community can post businesses serving their community.
