KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man is dead and a woman is in serious condition after both were struck by the same vehicle on Saturday in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Accident Investigation Section responded around 7:20 p.m. to East 30th and York streets to meet officers and "determined that a westbound Cadillac sedan struck a male pedestrian, then turned southbound and struck a female pedestrian," according to KCPD.
The man, who died at the scene, was 68 years old and from Kansas City, Missouri, police said. The woman was taken to an area hospital.
Police said the sedan crashed in the 3000 block of York Street, where officers apprehended the driver.
