KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead, and another is seriously injured after a motorcycle crash in Cass County Saturday evening.
At around 6:45 p.m., a 2002 Yamaha XV1600 Road Star was traveling on Route YY, west of Knight Road, when it went off the right side of the road and overturned.
The motorcyclist, a 69-year-old man, and his passenger, a 59-year-old woman, were then ejected from the motorcycle.
Both people were transported to an area hospital, where the woman was later pronounced dead.
