KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead and another in critical condition after an ATV accident in Kansas City, Missouri.
Around 3:26 p.m., KCPD officers were called to 51st Street and San Raphael Drive where an ATV heading north on San Raphael Drive left the road while taking a curve, striking a tree.
The driver, a woman who police identified as 30-year-old Adrianna M. Diaz, of Kansas City, Missouri, died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
The passenger was a 36-year-old man. He is in serious condition.
So far in 2020, 50 people have died in vehicle accidents compared to 36 this time in 2019.
