Shortly before 12:50 p.m., KCK police responded to the crash at North 27th Street and Stewart Avenue.
Police said “preliminary observations” indicated that a silver SUV traveling southbound on North 27th Street was struck by a motorcycle that was heading eastbound on Stewart Avenue.
The motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries. Police on Tuesday identified him as 44-year-old Francis Hulbert, of KCK.
