UPDATE, 4/3 | Police have identified the victim as 30-year-old Malik Sanders of Kansas City, Missouri.
EARLIER | A pedestrian is dead after a crash on Interstate 29 just before Barry Road.
According to Kansas City Scout, the crash happened just after 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Officials closed northbound lanes of I-29 in the area to investigate.
The road reopened just before 7:45 a.m.
