KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is dead and a 14-year-old is hurt after a shooting in south Kansas City late Tuesday night.
Police confirmed gunfire in the 1600 block of E. 80th Street around 11:15 p.m. Tuesday killed one person.
KCPD plans to identify the victim after notifying next-of-kin.
The child's condition was not immediately available.
