KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man is dead and another in custody after a shooting Wednesday night in Kansas City, Missouri.
KCPD officers found the gunshot victim — identified Thursday as 28-year-old Darren E. Marshall — around 7:15 p.m. in between houses near East 27th Street and Chestnut Avenue.
Neighbors gave police a description of the suspect's car and police quickly spotted the car.
The high-speed chase rolled west down Interstate 70 into Kansas City, Kansas.
Police eventually stopped the car near North Third Street and North James Street in KCK, where the suspect surrendered without further incident.
