KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 15-year-old male is dead following a shooting Monday night in Raytown.
Police responded around 8:30 p.m. to the area of East 63rd Street and Blue Ridge Boulevard after receiving multiple calls about shots being fired at the Raytown Plaza Shopping Center.
When officers arrived, they located the deceased teen in front of the Discount Smoke and Convenience Store in the 6200 block of Blue Ridge Boulevard.
A second shooting victim was found nearby. That person's condition is unknown at this time.
Police said the crime scene spans roughly two blocks.
