KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A hit-and-run crash killed a pedestrian Thursday night in Kansas City, Missouri.

It happened around 8 p.m. in the 8500 block of Blue Parkway.

The eastbound lanes of the parkway closed while police investigated.

The victim has not been identified.

Police did not have a description of the vehicle that hit the victim.
