KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Independence police are investigating a homicide in the 10600 block of East 15th Street early Friday morning.
The call went out as a shooting at 6:50 a.m.
Officers on scene found two people with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital.
One of those people later died. They were later identified as 34-year-old Richard A. Denny of Kansas City, Missouri.
