KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a crash in Cass County Monday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on MO 7 at Thunder Road around 7 p.m.
Investigators said a vehicle containing three people ran off the road and into a tree.
None of the occupants were wearing a seatbelt.
The driver and one passenger were seriously injured and taken to area hospitals.
Another passenger, 18-year-old Hailey Davis of Clinton, was killed in the crash.
