KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman died in a Clay County crash Tuesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said 41-year-old Stacey Busick was killed in the crash on U.S. 69 at Rhodes Road.
The crash happened as a 16-year-old male was traveling on Rhodes Road and failed to yield to another car traveling on U.S. 69, according to MSHP.
The second car went off the right side of the road, while the teen's car came to a rest facing southbound.
The teenager received minor injuries.
Busick was a passenger in the other vehicle. The driver and a second occupant in that car also sustained serious injuries, according to MSHP.
Excelsior Springs police assisted in the investigation.
