KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight in Leavenworth County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly before 2 a.m. on Friday on Interstate 70 westbound near the Lawrence exit.
According to the highway patrol, the vehicle left the road and drove down in a ditch, returned to the highway then veered back into the ditch before rolling over several times.
The driver of the vehicle was ejected during the crash and pinned underneath the vehicle.
The victim's name has not been released.
