KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An argument over a woman might have led to a shooting Wednesday afternoon in Excelsior Springs, according to police.
Police said in a news release that the shooting happened about 3:50 p.m. at a convenience store gas pump in the 1900 block of West Jesse James Road.
Police arrived and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head.
There was no information about the victim's condition.
Witnesses identified the suspect, who remained at the convenience store, the news release stated.
Police said the victim and suspect know one another.
