KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A crash Wednesday night in Lenexa has left one man dead.
Lenexa police said the wreck happened around 9:20 p.m. at Tallgrass Drive and Prairie Star Parkway.
Arriving officers found a single vehicle that had crashed into the center median and was fully engulfed in flames when emergency crews reached the scene.
Fire crews put out the fire, but the driver and sole occupant was pronounced dead.
Lenexa police said no positive identification had been made yet, but it was an adult male.
Investigators were trying determine the circumstances of the deadly crash.
