One person was killed an accident involving a vehicle and school bus on Wednesday morning in Saline County.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, a 2002 Dodge pickup truck, driven by 66-year-old Carolyn S. Lacey of Sweet Springs, Missouri, crossed the center line into the path of a school bus. They collided head on on Missouri 20 at 225th Road.
Lacey was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
The driver and the two students on the school bus were transported to the hospital with moderate and minor injuries, officials said.
