KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man died in a head-on collision Friday morning shortly before 8 a.m. near West 84th Street and Wornall Road, according to Kansas City, Missouri, police.
A Buick sedan and a Chevrolet van collided head-on. The driver of the Buick, Johnnie L. Fields of Kansas City, was taken to a hospital and died Friday evening, police said.
The investigation revealed the Buick was on the wrong side of the road when the crash occurred.
