Man dies of injuries from shooting at KCMO Hardee's

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Update, March 9 | KCPD said that on March 7, they were notified that the victim of the shooting on Independence Avenue passed away from their injuries.

He was identified as 29-year-old Joseph P. Delgado.

According to police, two officers were in the parking lot of 6200 Independence Ave. when they heard shots ring out at the Hardees across the street and arrived to find the shooting victim.

Police dispatch confirmed that the shooting occurred around 8 p.m. at Independence and Beacon avenues.
