KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was shot Sunday in Kansas City, Missouri.
KCPD responded to a disturbance at the Hickman Mills Freshman Center on Old Santa Fe Road “involving street racers in the parking lot.”
The call was upgraded to a shots-fired call, then a shooting, as officers responded to the scene.
One male victim was shot in the leg. His injuries were not life threatening.
