KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person on a motorcycle suffered critical injuries in a crash Wednesday night in Kansas City, Missouri, police said.
The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. as a motorcycle with two occupants was traveling south on Interstate 435. The driver of the motorcycle took the ramp to westbound Interstate 70 and U.S. 40. The driver went off the roadway at the split and lost control of the motorcycle, police said.
Both the driver and the passenger were ejected from the motorcycle. The passenger suffered life-threatening injuries, while the driver's injuries were not life-threatening, according to police.
