A 19-year-old man was killed in a crash late Sunday night in Clay County, Missouri.
According to police, Alisha Weir, 20, was driving a 2006 Kia when she failed to negotiate a curve on Highway MM near Terviz Road. The car traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck two trees.
Officials say the passenger, Luke Hubbard, 19, of Richmond, Missouri, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Weir suffered serious injuries and was transported to Liberty Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
