KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people were shot Sunday in front of a business in Northeast Kansas City, according to Kansas City, Missouri, police.
Officers responded to a call around 5:13 p.m. at Northeast Market, 4422 St. John Avenue.
Both victims have been transported to area hospitals, police said.
One victim is in life-threatening condition, according to police, and the other victim’s status is not yet known. One victim is male.
Police said that detectives and officers still are working to obtain a suspect description and are investigating what led up to the shooting.
