KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people were shot Saturday night in Kansas City, Missouri, during a street-racing gathering.
Neither victim suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police said they found more than 1,000 people and hundreds of cars about 9 p.m. in the 7100 block of Eastwood Trafficway.
The crowd obeyed police orders and left without incident, police said.
Police also said several other incidents were related to street racing Saturday night in the city.
