KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two teens were killed in a crash in Cass County Wednesday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to investigators, a 2001 Honda was traveling north on MO-7 near Short Road around 5:40 p.m. when it crossed the center line and swiped a southbound Jeep. The Honda then spun and was hit by a semi that was traveling south.
The two occupants of the Honda were killed in the crash.
They were identified as Reyna Oliver and Chloey Schorr, both 18 and both from Pleasant Hill.
The driver of the semi and of the other vehicle involved were not injured.
