2 Texas men face drug charges in Jackson County, Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two men were arrested in Jackson County, Kansas, on drug charges.

A sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle on Saturday around 9:30 a.m. on U.S. Highway 75 north of 118th for “multiple traffic infractions,” according to a release from the Jackson County, Kansas, Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the 2017 Ford passenger car, Jedidiah B. Hunter, 25, of Dallas, Texas, was arrested on the following charges: driving without a valid driver’s license, felony possession of ecstasy, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and felon in possession of a firearm.

A passenger, Aaron O. Hunter, 28, also of Dallas, Texas, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, felon in possession of a firearm and criminal use of a weapon, according to the release.

Both men are booked at the Jackson County Jail.
