KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is in custody after he barricaded himself inside a residence early Monday afternoon.

The suspect was arrested around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said they saw who they believed to be wanted people driving a car.

The pair bailed from their car, and one person was immediately taken into custody. The other, a man, ran to a close-by residence in the 4900 block of Raytown Road, where he closed himself in and refused to surrender.
