3 Missouri post offices temporarily relocated due to rising floodwaters

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Three Missouri post offices have been forced to temporarily close and relocate due to rising floodwaters.

Retail and delivery operations have been moved to the following locations:

For the Sumner, Missouri, post office: Brookfield, Missouri, post office at 201 W. Boston St., open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

For the Craig, Missouri, post office: Mound City, Missouri, post office at 116 W. 6th St., open from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, and 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

For the Utica, Missouri, post office: Chilicothe, Missouri, post office at 401 S. Washington St., open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays.

Customers are asked to bring a photo ID to pick up their mail. USPS said letter carriers will continue to deliver where possible.
