KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Four Johnson County teens suffered serious injuries Tuesday afternoon in a rollover crash in Shawnee.
All four teenage boys were ejected from a 2001 Ford F350 pickup truck, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash report.
The wreck happened at 5:35 p.m. on the entrance ramp from Shawnee Mission Parkway to northbound Interstate 435.
The driver lost control of the truck on the ramp, according to the report.
The truck ran off the entrance ramp, into a grass median and overturned onto the interstate.
The crash shut down the interstate for about 30 minutes.
None of the teens were wearing seat belts, according to the crash report.
