KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 7-year-old boy from Pleasant Hill suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a car while riding his bike.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday night a 7-year-old boy riding his bike on Locust Street, just east of Armstrong Street was struck when he entered the path of a red Honda Fit.
The boy was transported to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City with serious injuries.
Troopers say he was not wearing a helmet.
