A new type of bar is attracting the ladies attending the Big 12 Conference. However, this bar is serving blowouts and curls. Posh KC in downtown Kansas City tells 41 Action News they are seeing double the amount of clients because of walk-ins near the Big 12. Posh KC is part of a new trend in the hair world known as "blow-dry bars." These salons offer what's called a blowout-- just a basic hair washing and blow dry.
Customers who wear their team colors will get $5 off a blowout.
