UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled for 2 Kansas City, Kansas, girls

UPDATE, 3:32 p.m. | The girls were located around 3:30 p.m. in Missouri and are safe. The Amber Alert has been canceled.

UPDATE, 3:16 p.m. | Just before 3:15 p.m., Missouri State Highway Patrol agreed to issue an Amber Alert for Aracely Arambula and her 2-week old daughter, Bellanice Diaz.

ORIGINAL STORY | An Amber Alert has been issued for two Kansas City, Kansas, girls.

Aracely Arambula, 16, and her 2-week old daughter, Bellanice Diaz, were last seen around 5 a.m. at 1112 Greeley Ave. in Kansas City, Kansas.

Arambula is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a burgundy shirt and checkered pajama pants.

Bellanice is 1 foot 5 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink onesie.

Police said the two were forcibly taken at gunpoint from the residence by Jacob Diaz and Julian Diaz, the child's father and his brother. Officials believe the girls are in imminent danger.

Jacob Diaz, 21, stands 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Julian Diaz, 23, is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He also has black hair and brown eyes.

The car police are looking for is a red 2012 Honda Odyssey with a Kansas "In God We Trust" license plate AR299.
