AT&T: Service back in parts of Kansas, Missouri

UPDATE, 11:39 a.m. - AT&T says the issue that resulted in Wednesday morning's outage has been fixed. 

Statement from the company: 

Service has been restored for customers in parts of Kansas and western Missouri that experienced issues this morning with some wireless voice service. Wireless data and voice over LTE services were not affected.

Technicians quickly repaired the hardware-related issue and all services are running normally. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Do you have AT&T service right now?

Well, if you don't, you are not the only one.

According to Down Detector, outages are being reported in Kansas City, Springfield, Lawrence and Excelsior Springs, among other places. 

Statement from AT&T on the outages:

Some customers in the Kansas City area may be experiencing issues with their wireless voice service due to a hardware issue.

Technicians are working diligently to restore service as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience.
