Scam artists are trying to hit a home run by stealing from you.
Some try to lure in fans through online retail. The merchandise on the website looks real, but you may strike out if you chase this deal.
Here are some things you need to look out for from the Better Business Bureau of Greater Kansas City:
- Look for grammar issues
- If it seems too good to be true, it's probably fake
- Check location of business and if there's not an address listed don't shop from that site
- Always make sure there is, "https" when purchasing items online
