KANSAS CITY, Mo. — When the clock strikes midnight on New Year's, Times Square will be filled with thousands of pieces of confetti, helping ring in the new year.

If you have a wish for the New Year - whether that's a goal or a dream for the future - it could become part of the Times Square celebration. Those wishes will be on the confetti that will fill the streets of New York City.

To make this happen, you can visit the mobile Wishing Wall in person at Times Square. If you cannot make a trip to New York City any time soon, you can submit your wish via social media or through an online form.

If you choose to submit your wish via social media, share it on Twitter or Instagram using the the hashtag "ConfettiWish."

As for the online submission, go on the official Times Square website.

You must submit your wish before Dec. 28. Anything after that will be printed for the New Year's Eve celebration next year.
