Police are investigating after a body was found in a burned car in southeast Kansas City on Tuesday afternoon
Around 1 p.m. the Kansas City Police Department was called to a car fire on the 15800 block of Wood Chapel Road.
When officers arrived, they found a body inside of the vehicle.
Police are conducting a death investigation. Bomb and arson officials also responded to the scene to investigate.
