KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating after a body was found in the median of an interstate northwest of Kansas City.
MSHP said troopers received reports of the body along Interstate 29 near the 47 mile marker just before 2 p.m.
Troopers with the patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control are investigating along with the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office.
St. Joseph, Missouri, police said I-29 between Frederick and U.S. Highway 36 is closed until further notice.
