KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The body of a missing woman was found Saturday morning.
Kansas City, Missouri, police were dispatched around 9:43 a.m. to East Gregory Boulevard and Ewing Avenue and located a deceased black female.
Police confirmed the identity of the woman as Renita Thompson, 28, who they said had been missing since Monday.
Family members located Thompson, according to police. A cause of death is still being investigated.
