KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A boil water advisory was issued Wednesday for Edgerton, Missouri, northwest of Smithville Lake.
A company laying a fiber line struck a water main around noon, according to a city spokesperson.
As a result, it’s recommended that residents boil any water they use until further notice.
The advisory impacts around 300 customers.
