KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Select six-packs of Boulevard’s Tank 7 beer are being recalled after a consumer reported finding glass in a bottle.
Affected beer was sold in the greater Omaha, Nebraska area since Dec. 17, and on the Missouri side of the Kansas City metro since Dec. 28.
Boulevard said in a news release it started an investigation after receiving the report and found out a glass supplier failed to fix a problem with the production line. Glass bottles manufactured during the issue were delivered to Boulevard.
The bottles contain “small amounts of excess glass” that Boulevard said can become detached.
Consumers can check the shoulder of the bottle to determine if their beer is affected. Beer with the code “L103018 1423 E through L103018 1447 E” should be destroyed after consumers have gone to boulevard.com/refund or have e-mailed email@example.com.
